Passive Green Building Case Studies Poster & Booklet
This group assignment required the five of us to research two buildings in different climates: one in a local tropical climate similar to Malaysia's and another in a different climate (Arid, Mediterranean, Temperate Continental or Polar - for our study we chose Temperate). Our goal was to analyse, then compare and contrast the passive strategies or sustainable applications used in each building. The information and data collected would be presented in an A4 landscape booklet as well as an A0 sized poster.
Our selected buildings were The Edge (Hamburg) and Herit-watt University (Putrajaya, Malaysia). Our report covers the various different facets which each building employs its strategies, from site planning to daylighting, ventilation, landscaping and so on.

Passive Green Building Strategies Report
Using the knowledge and skills gained regarding the employment of passive building strategies from the previous group assignment, this second project would require each of us to individually create a similar report for our own Architectural Design IV studio project. We were tasked to implement passive design and sustainable features during the development of our studio work, considering the various facets as in the previous project - site planning, daylighting, ventilation, landscaping and so on. The final outcome was an A3 sized report containing the related information and analysis.
